I had this power supply laying around and am currently building a PC that doesn’t require anything special so I decided I would mod it and add the missing SATA connectors and remove some of the old Molex cables and connectors.

The power supply is a little older and didn’t include any SATA connectors but it had a ton of Molex style connectors. I had a few modular cables left from an Enermax power supply that I sold and forgot to include a few cables with it. I hung on to them since I sold it to a friend and didn’t know if he would need them later but he said he didn’t need them so I figured they would come in use one day.

I had 2 of these cables and each has 2 SATA connectors on the cable but I only decided to use one of them for now. The power supply has one of the old 6pin straight slot style connectors with orange wires (3.3v) which I needed for the SATA connectors so I removed it.

Here you can see the 2 cables with Molex connectors that I trimmed up to keep, I removed all additional connectors to shorten up the cables.

I had a few cable wrap kits that I haven’t needed to use yet so I decided I would crack one open and sleeve a couple of the cables that I cut off.
